Dear Me, Letter to my Younger Self

I am so inspired by the #‎DearMe‬ YouTube campaign. Yes, I know I am suppose to do a video but can’t get through it without tearing up. I am beyond grateful.

Here is my #DearMe to myself in college.

It all works out better than you can imagine! God has an awesome plan for your life and will guide you to exactly where you need to be and put people in your life that you need to know.

Don’t worry about not knowing beyond loving business what you wanted to do for a living after college and being frustrated by friends who know exactly what they would do when they got out of college: a photographer, pharmaceutical sales person, teacher, human resources manager, etc. The amazing thing is that the digital industry you serve now didn’t even exist when you were in college.

Life works out best when you let go and let God. You don’t have to have all the answers. You are more than enough.

I am grateful that I listened to that little voice in 2005 and that this digital stuff would be a big deal and took a massive leap of faith and left a Fortune 500 company to pursue digital consulting.

Learn to love the roller coaster of life. Hang on because it is an amazing ride.

What letter would you write to your younger self?
Thank you to all who have inspired me to be more vulnerable online and sharing what inspires me.
